Furniture builder and eDeck customer Jim Lucas crafted this beautiful Ipe glider and Ipe bench set out of 1×4 Ipe decking. The Ipe decking already has 4 eased (curved) edges, making it the perfect candidate to use for the custom project.

Last month I received a frantic call from a customer whose first contractors messed up a lot of expensive Ipe decking!  They screwed the boards in very haphazardly, countersinking some, leaving others at the surface, and completely ignoring any concept of straight lines.

Dallas contractor Kelly Hanna of Hanna’s Art Deck-O used 5/4×6 Garapa decking as a wrap-around for this pooside project.  This deck replaced a three-tiered yard on a cliff overlooking lake Grapevine.   The Garapa decking was fastened using the CAMO Hidden Fastener System and finished with Ready Seal.

Our friends over at Craddock sent us some beautiful shots of this poolside Ipe deck that was a remodel.  This Ipe was finished with Woodrich brand hardwood wiping stain.  Nice!
